Sorry for the delay!

My internet hasn't been very reliable lately, so I haven't been able to post for a bit. It's slow at work right now, so I figure now is a good time to catch up.
Work hasn't been too crazy. It's weird; some days I will be so hectic that I'll look up and miraculously its 5 pm. Other days I spend a lot of the day bonding with CNN and BBC.
I had a great week last week because the Dodgers were in town! I bought myself so pretty great seats for the first game. I was 26 rows behind the Dodgers dugout and the Dodgers murdered the Rockies 16-10. I went the next day with my friend Jenna and her crew and we sat in the top tier, so I couldn't exactly see the game. Luckily, my friend David who works for the Dodgers was in town for the game as well, so he brought me down to their suite level. It was fun to be with some people from L.A. again. Ironically, the lady I sat next to actually lives down the street from my mom's house! David was amazing. He hooked me up with all the food and drinks I could stand. Halfway through the game, David told me that the only way he could go to the game the next day was if I went to. Naturally, I called work immediately and told them I wouldn't be coming in. I love my internship, but the Dodgers take first priority. I went out with the LA people after the game, which was very fun. It was nice to see some people from home, even if I'd only known them a few hours. The next day, David told me he was unable to make it to the game, but left me tickets for AMAZING seats! I was 6 rows back between home plate and the Dodgers dugout. It was an amazing experience, except for the Dodgers losing!
The rest of the week felt very long after that, but now I am looking forward to visiting my dad and stepmom in AZ this weekend.
That was my big excitement so far. My life pretty much consists of work and hanging out at the neighborhood bar because they play the Dodgers game for me. I've sadly made most of my friends in Denver at that bar. I like going there though because it's safe. I hang out with a bunch of 50 year old men who protect me from being talked to by random men. Everyone who works there knows me and appreciates the fact that I am a young, fun girl who comes in just to watch the game and not get blindingly drunk! It helps that Denver is the friendliest place in the world!
The rest of my weekends should be pretty fun. I am going to AZ this weekend, my friend from LA is coming in the following week, my stepmom is in town the following 2 weekends and then I head home. I like it out here, but I am ready for LA again.
A few exciting accomplishments so far:
1. I got a library card!
2. I secured a few letters of rec for law school and the Fulbright.
3. I wrote an initial proposal for my Fulbright Scholarship and submitted it to a few people in the Dodgers organization, so keep your fingers crossed!!!
4. I picked up a 2nd internship working for the Obama campaign in Denver! I am going to work with them after 5 during the week and on weekends. Should make me so busy I can't be homesick.
I have to get back to work and I can't really think of anything else to tell you guys. But I will try and be more responsible about posting in the future!

xo,
Jamie
